Williams Schifino is committed to being an active participant in community affairs and public service. Our lawyers and staff are encouraged to become involved in various organizations and activities throughout the Tampa Bay area and State of Florida, whether they are civic, charitable or philanthropic in nature. Our attorneys have, for example, been members of and donated their time to organizations such as The Boys and Girls Club, Little League (coaches, officers and directors), Guardian Ad Litem, DACCO, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Greater Tampa, Inc., the YMCA, and The PACE Center for Girls. We believe that community involvement is an important element of providing top flight representation to our clients as it keeps us in touch with issues and problems faced by those organizations that may not typically arise in our corporate and institutional practice.
Our lawyers also participate and give back to those in need of legal representation, regardless of ability to pay, through donations to and participation in legal aid organizations, the Hillsborough County Bar Association and Florida Bar committees and organizations, private donations and pro-bono representation of individual clients who would otherwise be unable to receive counsel as a result of their financial difficulty or status.
